FashionBar Chicago

Communications, PR, and Social Media Intern, January-June 2016

After returning to Chicago to finish my degree, I got an internship at a start-up company called FashionBar Chicago. At the startup, I wore a lot of hats and took on a lot of responsibilities, which I am grateful for. One of my biggest accomplishments was working out a social media plan and establishing an online presence for one of our clients. In the few months I worked it, I completely built her social media image across various platforms, even booking models and shoots through Instagram networking. This internship also allowed me to dive into event planning, taking responsibilities for organizing fashion shows with local designers, models, and vendors.
